CMRE’s Relocation Department can review your company’s current policy to make recommendations that would add value to your program based on the latest industry trends and best practices. In the absence of a policy, we can work with you side by side to develop a formal policy that best fits with your corporate culture.
Transferee Counseling
CMRE will provide relocation counseling to your transferee. We will do a needs analysis so we can clearly communicate to them the specifics of the relocation process. This sets the expectation level throughout, greatly reducing stress and providing for a better experience. We will then select the best qualified Realtor to work with your employee. Remember, the goal of a successful relocation is to get your employee to his new position mentally prepared to “hit the ground running.” Good, comprehensive relocation counseling is the first step toward that goal.
Home Finding Assistance
Destination area orientation is a valuable tool provided to your transferee to help narrow the new home search to minimize the number of house hunting trips. Home finding assistance also includes:
· Providing new city information on schools, areas of interest, local real estate markets, etc.
· Mortgage pre-qualification
· Relocation information packets
Rental Assistance
We can also help your employees with their rental needs as well. We can help find the perfect apartment with great amenities at the best value. There may be a small fee associated with this service.
Temporary Living
We also have a network of strategic partners that can provide furnished temporary housing, sometimes with very short-term lease agreements while your transferees are either on temporary short-term assignments or just in between homes.
Marketing Assistance
Our relocation counselor will help your transferee who may have a home to sell select a Realtor in their area who will provide a Broker’s Market Analysis (BMA) to best market their property. In some cases, we can provide multiple BMA’s by competing brokers to best establish market value during sometimes very tight time constraints.
Mortgage Assistance
We have partnered closely with a Licensed Mortgage Lender offering the full array of Fannie, Freddie, and FHA products. Providing direct agency approvals means your wait is minutes, not hours or days — all at competitive rates and terms tailored to the client’s specific needs.
Household Goods Transportation
We can provide competitive pricing from among the industry’s best and largest carriers. Our partners are ranked among the best in the nation when ranked on service. This is often the most emotional part of the relocation process for your employee, and our department will set your transferee up with a single point of contact from the moving company who will act as their moving coordinator. The move coordinator will administrate the entire moving process directly with your employee and CMRE. Our household goods providers also can ship specialized machinery and/or equipment on air-ride vans.
